* With eighteen rooms of various configurations, the Motor Inn is comfortable, affordable and has very easy access and parking.
* Just a short distance from the various cafes, restaurants, clubs and pubs in Quirindi your dining experience is well catered for. Some of the establishments have a courtesy bus for pick up and return to your room.
* If you prefer to 'eat in' every room has its own microwave. In the summer months people love to use the BBQ in the lovely garden (available to all).

See AllBob's Shed * Bobs Shed Museum is a place in which one can get lost in for several hours. * Halfway up the hill to Who'd a Thought It Lookout Bob's Shed is famous far & wide for its portrayal of Australia's country history. * Open from 9:00am to 4:00pm you will find an incredible collection of over 30 years in the making. * There is a general store, Peter Brock World, Railway Hotel, Historical Cars, and a mechanics Garage, all packed with thousands of historical archives, collectibles and souvenirs. * Cost is just $6 and includes tea or coffee.....well worth the visitWho'd a Thought it Lookout * The highest point in Quirindi does not disappoint. * With magical views over the Liverpool Plains, it is well worth the few minutes drive up past Bob's Shed to the top of the hill. * There are BBQs, Picnic tables and bathroom amenities - a perfect spot to stop and take in the magnificent panorama* ....and if you are lucky you may just see a koala asleep in one of the beautiful gums.First Fleet Memorial Gardens * The First Fleet Memorial Gardens consist of eleven circular gardens, representing the ships of the First Fleet.*The largest garden is in the shape of Australia.* A winding cobblestone path connects the Gardens, each of which has a number of surrounding sandstone tablets inscribed with the names of the persons who sailed on that ship.* Both gardens have interpretative signage largely drawn from the logs and memoirs of the participants. Monument details supplied by Monument Australia Contact Monument AustraliaWerris Creek Railway Museum * The Rail Journeys Museum at Werris Creek, located within the old and historic Werris Creek Railway Station is a must to visit when you are in the New England area.* Werris Creek was one of NSW major rail hubs in years gone by and a hugely busy rail centre, so much so that the entire township grew up around the rail.* The modernisation of trains and the rail network generally changed the dynamics of rail travel and maintenance over the decades.* Fortunately a number of individuals, all former rail workers, had the foresight to set up this centre with a vast array of memorabilia, photos, documents which could have been lost without their vision and enthusiasm to preserve a bygone era.*It really is one of the better Museums to visit and in many ways worth a special trip to Werris Creek to see and explore.* There are wonderful video presentations and for anyone who likes trains, travel, steam and history this is a must. It is only a short half hour drive from Quirindi.* A small shop sells memorabilia and great DVDs of rail travel within Australia. Entry is free but a small donation is appreciated to help the ongoing work by enthusiastic local volunteers.* You will not be disappointed - it was incidentally where the Angelina Jolie film "Unbroken" was made. * Whilst you are there it is well worth visiting the Pharmacy on the other sided of the road where you can enjoy coffee or lunch in the delightful cafe, browse the extensive toy store or take home a gift from the well stocked gift store.Quirindi Heritage Village and Museum * Quirindi Rural Heritage Village is situated 3kms west of Quirindi on the Gunnedah Road (Kamilaroi Highway) in north western New South Wales, Australia.* The Museum, Heritage Village and coffee shop are open Friday, Saturday and Sundays 10 am - 4 pm and other times by appointment.* An annual rally and swap meet where machinery enthusiasts and "swappers" gather together is held the first full weekend in May.* The village is set on 20 acres, in the heart of the rich farming area - the Liverpool Plains - the Gateway to North West NSW.* The village has been designed to collect, preserve, restore, interpret and exhibit artefacts that relate to the history, heritage and culture of the regional area.* A well presented Museum and refreshing coffee shop make up the main Federation Pavilion. There are other major buildings that display tractors, engines and machinery. A "Village Workshop" and Blacksmith's shop have been completed.* The Tractor shed houses, as the name implies, a collection of members tractors and engines. It also includes the remnants of a Squire plough (the fore-runner of four wheel drive tractors), and displays of shearing and saddlery items.* The Machinery shed is the domain of the agricultural implements, including a 1901 Clayton and Shuttleworth threshing machine, elevator and chaff cutter, railway items and even the old Spring Ridge Fire truck.* A miniature railway, comprising more than 800 metres of track, (and currently being extended) operates around a lake area and is in operation on the fourth Sunday of each month as well as on other special occasions. A steaming bay, railway station and turn-table have been constructed and miniature rail enthusiasts gather from a wide area attend regular meets.* The annual rally attracts people and their machines from all over Australia and overseas. It showcases the restoration of machines from the past, ranging from tractors and steam engines, from collections of smaller items such as shearing gear, lawn mowers and also craft items to interest the ladies.* A street procession through the town gives the vintage tractor and car enthusiasts a chance to show off their prized possessions. (registered or RTA permits only) Lots of entertainment includes woodchop on Sunday and tractor events.
